Logan runs back into Test team

Thu, 16 Nov 2000 8:28 GMT

London Wasps' Kenny Logan has been recalled to the Scotland fold in one of the four changes from the side beaten by the Wallabies for the Test match against Samoa at Murrayfield on Saturday.

Logan was dropped from the side by coach Ian McGeechan after a disappointing opening to the Six Nations tournament at the start of the year.

But McGeechan has brought the experienced back in on the left wing to replace Glasgow Caledonians youngster Jon Steel.

Richard Metcalfe takes over from Stuart Grimes in the second row and Jason White returns to the side from the bench.

Jon Petrie switches to number eight in place of Simon Taylor, who has been ruled out with a broken hand.
