Only hours after what has definitely the most exciting game so far, we are fortunate enough to have Scotland winger Kenny Logan and Lock Andy Reed joining us.

Welcome guys. First and foremost, how serious is the injury to John Leslie?

Andy: I am not sure, I think there is a little bit of ligament damage, but hopefully he'll be back for the later stages.

Kenny: Yes, he will be back after the next two games.

Question: Do you think that Scotland lost the game rather than South Africa winning it?

Andy: Well, I wasn't playing, but watching from the stands there were soft tries conceded, we worked very hard at defence, but our clearance kicks didn't find the mark and we conceded a couple of tries from that.

Kenny: We started well I the first half, but in the second we made too many mistakes, and South Africa capitalised in them, against a team like that, you cannot afford to do that.

Question: Scotland more than held their own in the scrum, but the line-out seemed to go wrong, anything to do with the new lifting laws?

Andy: We were concerned about the South African front row, but our gamble of playing a smaller combination seemed to pay off. I thought we did very well. Our line -out ball was bad and we need to work hard on that area. Possibly they were a bit confused about the laws, but you also had two smallish guys trying to lift two big guys.

Question: Kenny, on the plus side you kicked very well, have you been working very hard on that side of your game?

Kenny: Definitely, I've put a lot of time and effort into kicking, and I was pleased with that aspect of my game.

Question: How about the rest of your game?

Kenny: To be honest I concentrated so hard on what I was doing, that I don't remember the rest of it. I will watch the game later and analyse my performance.

Question: Would you have preferred to have met South Africa later on in the pool games?

Andy: It doesn't really matter, every game is going to be a hard game and if you want to do well you've got to compete with the best.

Question: Both of you play your club rugby at Wasps in England, what's the answer to keep Scottish talent playing in Scotland?

Kenny: Scotland needs a competition such as the British league, both of us want to play at the highest level and at the moment that can't be found in Scotland. Rugby is a relatively short -lived career and we can't wait 2 or 3 years to play at the top level, we need to play now and we really enjoy Wasps.

Question: How hard will it be to lift yourself for the next game?

Andy: There is still a lot of rugby to be played and some of the squad haven't had a chance to prove themselves. We will probably have a different pattern to our game, but we will want to get everything right before the 1/4 final play -off.

Kenny: Our opponents in that game would probably be Argentina, who have already beaten us this season, so we will have something to prove.

Question: How did you feel Gregor (Townsend) played?

Kenny: Gregor is a world class player and he will be disappointed in his game, he made some great breaks and opened up the South African defence, but he won't be happy with his kicking game. Although his drop -goal was the best thing to do at the time, the S.A defence was coming up very quick and it meant we were only 10 points behind, it gave us a lift.

Question: Kenny, Andy, I know you've got a bus to catch, so just one more question. Who do you think is going to win?

Andy: Well England look quite good and then there are the 3 Southern Hemisphere sides, Wales aren't up to scratch yet but you never know.

Thank you Kenny Logan and Andy Reed, good luck for the rest of the tournament.
